Race of Remembrance 2024 Documentary

We were honored to return for the 2024 Race of Remembrance, continuing our collaboration with Matabooboo Racing and Mission Motorsport - The Forces' Motorsport Charity. This year’s documentary centered on the incredible journey of Danny, a beneficiary racer whose infectious energy and remarkable transformation inspired everyone involved.

This annual event is far more than just a race; it’s a powerful weekend of emotion, camaraderie, and remembrance. Featuring a 12-hour endurance race wrapped around a poignant remembrance service, Race of Remembrance connects people in a unique celebration of resilience and recovery through motorsport.

Goals and Challenges

To tell the story authentically, we adopted a fly-on-the-wall filming style to capture both the intensity of the race and the human moments behind the scenes. By combining these real-life experiences with cinematic editing, we created a documentary that celebrates both individual and collective triumphs.

Throughout the project, we worked closely with the client to ensure every detail supported their mission of veteran recovery through motorsport. Post-production focused on color grading and editing to enhance the emotional resonance of the footage, emphasizing the raw energy and heartfelt moments of the weekend.
