This case study animation was created to showcase the copywriting work of Henry Small, Jonatan Fligelman, Miguel Marques, and Daliana Balan from Miami Ad School Madrid. Their project, Read In, Read Out, integrates the Headspace app with Penguin Children’s Books, providing parents with moments of meditation while reading to their children. The video serves as part of their entry for the prestigious Clio Awards.

To achieve the desired aesthetic, the animation was created at 12 frames per second, reinforcing the hand-crafted, cartoon-like quality of the visuals. Each scene was carefully animated to bring characters and elements to life while maintaining a natural and engaging rhythm. The animation was built from Jonatan Fligelman’s original artwork, broken down into individual elements for smoother transitions and storytelling.

Working from the team’s storyboard, I ensured that each scene captured the essence of their concept while staying faithful to the Headspace brand identity. The final animation highlighted their work in a way that was visually engaging and impactful, perfectly complementing the case study’s message.
